Dance like no one’s watching, laugh until you cry, and love from the abundance of your heart.
~ Carrie L. Roberts
Who am I
I believe everyone has a story that stitches them together to make them who they become. The journey to complete wholeness of that story sometimes requires assistance, and I believe that’s where I come in. I am an alumna of the University of Florida where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in History. I furthered my education at Liberty University where I successfully obtained my Master of Arts degree with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy.
My Family
I have been happily married for almost 22 years. My husband and I have two beautiful children. In my free time, I love going on adventurous dates with my husband and spending quality time with family and friends. I am a licensed and ordained minister and active member in my church. I gain joy from sharing God's word, singing on the praise team, and serving others alongside my husband who pastors a phenomenal church.
From One Desk to Another
Prior to entering the field of Marriage and Family Counseling, I worked as a middle school teacher, educating the minds of today. As a teacher, I collaborated with a team of colleagues, the implementation and execution of academic and behavioral interventions, 504 accommodation plans, and Individual Education Plans for students with disabilities. Additionally, I served in other roles within the educational system.
